See the BIG Picture and Know what Counts
-
As a supportive way to stay the course, my clients often refer to previous postings I have placed in this Achievers Blog. And sometimes they also find inspiration from the quotations found in the Great Minds section of the Coaching Confidential website. It has been brought to my attention that a quick reference to the blog postings which are specific to goal setting would be helpful to both clients and visitors to this site.
-
So, here are a dozen links to blog postings that will help you find immediate focus on what really counts when it comes to setting goals to achieve what is important to you. These postings and many more can also be easily found in the "Previous Posts" and "Archives" sections shown in the right column of this blog.

Is Your Brain Being Properly Stimulated?

Boost Brain Power,
expand your potential NOW
-

The ability of the human brain is absolutely amazing; and when regularly stimulated, it can serve us beyond our wildest imaginations. It has the unlimited capacity to learn, and "flexing" this gray matter is among the healthiest ways to gain clarity of thought, achievement, and longevity of life. The benefits of exercising the brain are enormous.
-
An excellent way to exercise the brain is by working through cognitively challenging tasks. There are a variety of approaches to accomplish this goal. Included among them are problem-solving exercises such as math calculations, crossword or word puzzles, learning a new language or how to play a musical instrument, or using a computer software program specifically designed to stimulate and improve the thinking processes. When employing any of these activities the most effective results occur when different types of exercises are done randomly. The idea is to avoid doing the same exercise over and over and to challenge the brain with the unexpected.
-
There is also an additional way to flex the brain for gain which can offer a boost to personal and career growth. This approach encompasses specific mental exercises known as "success boosters." These goal-oriented activities can significantly help one overcome obstacles and realize meaningful achievements. This involves learning how to optimally approach, focus, and follow-through on tasks that are critical to experiencing desired results.
-
Combining the stimulation of problem-solving excercises with success boosters can dramatically boost brain power and expand one's personal and career potential. Visit the Coaching Confidential website for more details on how all this is possible.
